Well.... Besides the headliner(s), other bands tend to go on tour with them. These bands tend to be on the same label or have the same parent company, and (generally) the band's style, sound, and audience are the same. Other people who on tour with bands are makeup artists. Now I know not all bands where guyliner or face paint or whatever... But due to the lights on the stage, band members will put on base makeup or else they will look completely washed-out to the audience. Managers, or associates, will go on tour with the band to make sure the talent gets to gigs on time and is being taken care of properly. Record Producers rarely will go on tour with bands. They tend to go to shows to find new talent. The last group of people that go on tour with bands are roadies who help with setting up equipment, lighting, effects and whatever else such as props.

Who else goes on tour with bands besides the actual band?
I'm curious what careers are out there that let you go on tour with bands other than the actual musicians. Do band managers go with them? Record Producers? I'm asking mainly cause I want to go into music and be able to tour, but not exactly be a musician.
