Ticketmaster reveals settlement plans over redirection lawsuit

Details have been revealed of Ticketmaster’s plans to compensate music fans who were redirected to its TicketsNow secondary site to buy tickets for shows by the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Miley Cyrus, even though they hadn’t sold out on the (cheaper) main Ticketmaster site. A class action lawsuit was filed against the company in 2009 over the affair.
